Held at Burnley Mechanics, this year’s Corporate Challenge saw 28 local businesses go head-to-head to battle it out to raise the most money for the Hospice from 1st June to 30th September.

We can honestly say that with the amount of different events and activities acdc undertook for the Charity Challenge that every single of our 95 employees contributed in some way – be it helping out at events, creating their own fundraising ideas or donating week in week out.

One of the most amazing results in taking part is how the Corporate Challenge really helped us live our values which are;

Challenging Boundaries
15 fantastic and very brave employees challenged their own boundaries by jumping out of a plane!!

One Team
Fun Day Friday will go down in history in the fantastic way it brought everyone together and every single employee got involved.

So on Thursday evening the results were in, and we are thrilled to announce that acdc came away winning both the ‘Team Spirit’ and overall ‘Corporate Challenge Champion Award’!

Gareth Frankland, CEO of acdc said: “Taking part in the Corporate Challenge has been an unbelievable experience. It’s not only a great feeling to have raised funds for such a worthy cause but it has also helped to bring us together as a team, with every single employee taking part in one way or another.”

“The legacy from the awards for us will be how it helped to push us out of our comfort zone and create life-long memories, particularly our team sky dive.”
