acdc, internationally renowned specialist manufacturers of architectural LED lighting solutions, are set to “bring light to life” in Light Middle East’s exclusive ‘Future Zone’ this weekend, presenting their innovative range of downlight, linear, flood and accent LED luminaires.

Light Middle Easts’ Future Zone is designed to serve as an exclusive show window for the latest products, concepts and innovations that have the potential to transform the world of lighting design. It is, therefore, fitting that the British based LED manufacturer, whose innovative products have quite literally revolutionised the world of lighting for over a decade, should take centre stage in this space.

“This is our second consecutive year exhibiting in the Future Zone of Light Middle East” explains acdc’s Head of International Sales, Chris Rimmer, “and we are truly at home in this arena given our unique approach to LED technology: acdc hasn’t got a historic, traditional lighting approach which allows us to challenge the norm and come at things from a different angle. We develop new products as the result of new LED technology, starting with the LED light source, to create beautifully designed, extremely efficient luminaires. The result is a portfolio of LED products which are better, brighter, more compact and different to anything that is currently available on the market – this is what sets acdc apart.”

The focal point of acdc’s exhibition stand will be their 4 product line categories of downlights, linear, flood and accent luminaires. Selected products have also been incorporated within the stand build to actively and accurately demonstrate their lit effects in a realistic application setting. These include (hyperlinked for full product details):

Focusing on the Middle East

Mr Rimmer, who also heads up acdc’s Dubai office, created to service the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Australia and India with sales, design and technical support, adds: “We feel that it is really important to support the Light Middle East exhibition, to raise the profile of lighting within the region. The Middle East offers a hugely exciting landscape for lighting at the moment. Improved light outputs and high CRI values from premium LED products such acdc’s, combined with a desire to reduce carbon footprints and a focus on the environment have meant that premium LED lighting solutions are in demand in the region now more than ever before.”

“Indeed, LED technology offers miniaturisation and today we see LEDs being seamlessly integrated into the fabric of buildings as standard. Middle East specifiers are also looking for a more intelligent means of lighting, and acdc’s LED solutions are perfect for this.”

Innovation confirmed

acdc’s reputation as innovative LED manufacturers is further confirmed by the selection of their latest LED offering; the FUSION flood light, as a finalist for “Most innovative Product of the Year” at the Light Middle East Awards.

“We are extremely proud that FUSION has been shortlisted for this prestigious award.” Mr Rimmer adds. “We would also like to thank our clients, whose continued faith in our products and services has seen them include our luminaires in their innovative projects, many of which have also been shortlisted at the awards. We believe the future for acdc and for the lighting industry in the Middle East is indeed very, very bright.”

Shortlisted projects for the Light Middle East Awards incorporating acdc products include:
