acdc, internationally renowned specialist manufacturers of architectural LED lighting solutions, brought light to Clitheroe Castle earlier this month.

The Lancashire based Company in collaboration with Ribble Valley Borough Council lit up Clitheroe Castle to demonstrate the effect of their new flood light – Fusion.

The new floodlight will be launching at the international Light and Building Exhibition in Frankfurt next month and the Castle was chosen as a perfect venue to demonstrate the outstanding effects of the new floodlight.

acdc were delighted when the Council gave permission for the Company to visit the castle grounds to light up the Castle.

Gareth Frankland, CEO for acdc, commented: “We were extremely excited to visit a local beauty spot to demonstrate the effects of Fusion.  This luminaire won the Lighting Design Award last year and will be an extremely important product launch for the company. acdc already work with some of the worlds’ leading lighting designers, architects and interior designers on some of the worlds’ most prestigious projects but were passionate about taking Fusion to more local prestigious buildings as part of the launch.  We were delighted when Ribble Valley Borough Council kindly agreed to work with us to light up the Castle and achieve the spectacular photo shoot to demonstrate Fusion’s ability to bring light to life”.”

The Company also visited Broadcasting Tower in Leeds and The John Ryland’s Library on Deansgate in Manchester.
