London Eye: Olympic Twitter feed Lightshow

Every night during the Olympics, the iconic London Eye will be lit up to reflect the percentage of positive comments on the Twitter feed #Energy2012. EDF Energy sponsor’s the lightshow and if, for example, the nation’s energy is 75% positive, three quarters of the wheel will light up, YouTube video here.
Real-time “social sentiment tracking” splits the tweets into positive and negative conversations and filters them through a programme, which systematically converts them into a lightshow.
